BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) arrangements are being increasingly used in establishing offshore centers, particularly in India . Through this model, the outsourcing provider helps the client set up the contact centre from start to finish. The association covers establishment of the operation, acquisition of facilities and staff and extends to actually running the centre for a defined period. Once the centre and services are well established, management and ownership is transferred to the customer. This proven service transfer platform is designed to ensure process integrity and minimize inherent migration risks.
Minmax provides a dedicated facility for the client in this model. The dedicated facility is staffed either by existing resources or by client's resources or by resources hired specifically for engagement or a mix of them all. The client can realize tremendous value through the service provider at each phase of the process as explained below:
Build : Setup the facility and infrastructure (hardware and software), staff the development center, provide logistics and administrative support including office space, and establish knowledge transfer.
Operate : Manage the offshore organization - Program Management, Development, QA, maintenance, enhancements, and product support. During this phase the client can opt to move to the Lease phase.
Transfer : Register a new offshore subsidiary for the customer, transfer assets, and handover operations. The employees and related assets are transferred to the subsidiary under a mutually agreed transfer pricing mechanism. |
